Yesterday was the first annual Hills Foodie Fair and Spelling Bee at The Hills Market. A fundraiser for Local Matters, it was an extravaganza of community spirit with carnival games, a hot dog eating contest, live auction, and food vendors including The Cheesy Truck, Darista Café, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Junior’s Tacos, Leslie’s Creperie, The Munchbox, Sassafras Bakery, Pattycake Bakery, and Short North Bagel Deli.
