This afternoon, for one glorious hour, I set aside my laptop and agenda to visit the Earth Day festivities at Franklin Park Conservatory. Organized by Green Columbus, the event was impressively and lovingly orchestrated. It featured local food vendors, musicians, and environmentalists who believe in celebrating our beautiful Mother Earth, promoting peaceful unity, and spreading gobs of good vibes. Plus, the entire festival was waste-free...meaning that everything was recycled or composted. It was just one more instance in which I felt proud to be a resident of Columbus, Ohio. Thanks Alex, I'm glad you had a good time. Great photos.
