I've been obsessed with words and their definitions for most of my life. I could play Scrabble and Boggle all day long and dweebily enjoy reading dictionaries. Last week while brainstorming names for a client project I discovered urbandictionary.com. If you friggin love pop culture and dig laughing out loud, it'll be your new BFF.
Urban Dictionary's definitions are off the hook. It refers to Scientology as a "falsetto religion" in which "eternal happiness is attained by donating all of your money to the leaders." It calls A Tribe Called Quest "the greatest hip hop group to ever walk this Earth" and says that dating is a "socially acceptable form of prostitution."
Anyone can register to become an Urban Dictionary editor and submit content. Big ups to Urban Dictionary for being the shiznit. It's not afraid to go there.
